Joining us to celebrate International Women’s Day, Dutch cellist and singer Hadewych van Gent creates a distinctive and recognisable sound world of her own. An adventurous and versatile musician, she moves along the edges of the classical tradition and beyond. Her intimate and compelling performances have captivated audiences across Europe and South America.
Hadewych plays a cello by Johannes Theodorus Cuypers and a Fétique bow, made possible by the Netherlands Music Fund (NMF).
