Charles Hallé Restaurant: pre-concert dining
Enjoy dinner at The Bridgewater Hall before your concert, with everything in one place for your evening.
Two courses: £33 per person
Three courses: £38.50 per person
The restaurant opens for evening performances and selected afternoon shows. Advance booking is essential.

How do I book a table?
Book online when buying concert tickets, or call the Box Office on 0161 907 9000. If you already have tickets, call to check dining availability and add a reservation.
A £5 deposit per person is required. Deposits are non-refundable; cancellations made at least three working days before your reservation qualify for a credit to your Box Office account.
Bars
When do the bars open?
For a 7.30pm concert, the Stalls bar opens at 5pm; bars on other levels open at 6.30pm. Timings will vary depending on the start time of the concert; please check your pre-concert email which will be sent around 48 hours before the concert for further information. Ice creams are available at the interval from our stewards.
If you have specific questions about bar availability on the night of your visit, or require further assistance, our front-of-house team will be very happy to help when you arrive.

As our Official Wine Merchant Partner, they supply all wines served throughout The Bridgewater Hall, from our bars to the Charles Hallé Restaurant and Premium Experience Lounge. Alcohol-Free options
We want every visitor to feel comfortable, welcome, and well catered for. Alongside our traditional bar offering, we provide a thoughtful selection of alcohol-free drinks, making it easy to enjoy your visit in a way that suits you.
Our alcohol-free options include No Alcohol Kylie Sparkling Rosé (0%), a refined sparkling rosé alternative with fresh, celebratory character; Heineken 0.0% (330ml), offering the familiar taste of a classic lager without the alcohol; and Old Mout Zero 0% (500ml), a refreshing alcohol-free cider option. These sit alongside a wide range of soft drinks and hot beverages, including tea and coffee.
The Lounge: an extra treat for your visit
The Lounge is an optional add-on to your concert ticket, available for selected performances. It gives you a dedicated space to enjoy before the concert and during the interval.
The standard Lounge package includes two drinks from the house menu, pre-concert nibbles, interval ice cream, a welcome host and cloakroom service.
Does The Lounge include dinner?
The standard package does not include a restaurant meal. Combined Lounge and two- or three-course dining packages are available for selected concerts, with dinner served in the Charles Hallé Restaurant.
Family Lounge packages have different inclusions: drinks are limited to soft drinks and nibbles are not included. Check the package offered for your performance before booking.

Informal dining is available for selected afternoon performances. Contact the Box Office to check your date.

How can I pay?
You can pre-pay for your meal when booking your tickets. If you are paying a deposit and would like to pay on the night, contactless payments are preferred.

Managing Food Safety & Allergen Awareness
Every aspect of food safety is of the highest importance to our organisation, and we take every care to ensure that you can eat safely whilst visiting our venues. In addition to strict hygiene procedures, we have embarked upon an extensive allergen awareness campaign. This includes high levels of staff training, and implementation of policies, procedures and processes, in line with the Food Information Regulations. We are continually reviewing and improving every aspect of our Food Safety Strategy, this includes ensuring up to date information on allergens is shared with our teams, reducing the possibility for allergen exposure.
