Paul Carrack is an English singer, songwriter, and multi-instrumentalist known for his work with several popular bands and as a successful solo artist. He’s often called ‘The Man with the Golden Voice’, recognized for his soulful vocals, as well as his contributions to rock, pop, and soul music, with a career spanning over five decades, including notable stints in bands like Ace, Squeeze, and Mike + The Mechanics. He is also a respected songwriter, with Carrack’s songs recorded by artists like Diana Ross, The Eagles, and Tom Jones.
His new album, The Country Side of Paul Carrack, marks a deeply personal milestone, offering a heartfelt tribute to the music that shaped him. The record includes eight classic country covers and two original tracks: the soul-stirring ‘In the Cold Light of Day’ and a new version of his hit ‘Love Will Keep Us Alive’.
Fans can expect an emotionally resonant show blending Carrack’s unparalleled catalogue with fresh takes from his country collection. The production will be bigger than ever, featuring a band he’s toured with for three decades, offering musical chemistry honed over hundreds of shows. ‘There’s no feeling like performing live with this band,’ says Carrack. ‘We’ve been through it all together, and we’re excited to bring something new to these incredible venues.
