A 2016 National YoungArts Winner, Anastasiya Magamedova, began studying the piano at the age of 5 in Dushanbe, Tajikistan and is a recent graduate of the Juilliard School. Recent engagements have taken her to perform in the Kammermusik Saal of the Berlin Philharmonic, Theatre of Digital Arts of Dubai and the Opera and Ballet State Theater of Tajikistan.
Previously Magamedova has given solo recitals in halls such as Alice Tully Hall, Carnegie Hall’s Weill Concert Hall, and Pierre Boulez Saal in Berlin. Anastasiya currently lives in Paris and is under the mentorship of Gabriela Montero.
