The Mid-days season concludes with the celebrated Swedish cellist Mats Lidström, performing with his son Leif. Mats’ dynamic stage presence and career as performer, composer, transcriber and author has brought him international fame. Leif is currently based in Manchester and is rapidly gaining a reputation as a talented chamber musician. The four Bach transcriptions by Mats are part of an ongoing series that he is producing.
