Kathy Burke’s memoir, A Mind of My Own, is a vivid account of her Islington childhood, how she became inspired to pursue acting via the Anna Scher Theatre and the incredible, ground-breaking career that followed as a result. Well known for comedic roles in- amongst others- French & Saunders and Gimme, Gimme, Gimme, she has also tackled serious material in unforgettable films such as Elizabeth and Nil by Mouth. Her book, candid and funny, tells the story of all this and more. In this special event, Kathy Burke appears in conversation with fellow North Londoner, actor, and comedian Roisin Conaty.
All tickets include a copy of A Mind of My Own to be collected at the event
