Imogen Cooper plays one of Mozart’s most elegant and expressive piano concertos. Also tonight, Ben Gernon conducts the BBC Philharmonic in a sparkling Stravinsky work and Tchaikovsky’s tempestuous, gripping Fourth Symphony.

These pre-concert events are a great opportunity for the entire family to get to know the music. They include demonstrations from BBC Philharmonic players and programme notes written specially for younger audiences. Please aim to arrive by 6pm. This event is free but places are available on a first-come-first-served basis.
