Jazzette is a band led by bassist and vocalist, Carol Jason, featuring Andy Gleave on piano and vocals, Helena Summerfield on sax and woodwind, and Johanne Levy on vocals, ukelele, clarinet and percussion.
The band are known for their emotional interpretations of jazz standards, to which they add the occasional Jewish twist, Carol having grown up in a family of Jewish musicians, including her sister – and fellow Jazzette member – Johanne.
Having performed all over the world as part of various of projects, Carol recently appeared as a contestant on BBC2’s Rock Till We Drop, presented by Martin Kemp and Lady Leshurr.
Live at Lunchtime is a series of free concerts, taking place on various Fridays throughout May to September. Doors open at 12.30pm, with each 45-minute performance starting promptly at 12.45pm, providing the perfect opportunity to enjoy some musical entertainment during the space of your lunch break!
