Building on the success of their sold out concert last season, Hallé Brass returns to the atmospheric setting of Hallé St Peter’s to bring you a programme that truly highlights the players’ pioneering spirit. Nearly 80 years ago, the Hallé Brass Consort was born and since then, Hallé brass musicians have commissioned and premiered new works to expand the repertoire for the enjoyment of musicians and audiences alike. We’ll hear from Gareth, Tom, Julian and Katy as they let us into the stories behind the premieres and delve into the history of Hallé Brass.
