Chetham’s School of Music – the UK’s largest specialist music school – is home to many of the UK’s most exciting young musicians, aged 8-18. Join Chetham’s Middle School Orchestra for pieces by Tchaikovsky, Lalo, Mendelssohn and Panufnik! This is the second of four Chetham’s concerts in one day, the culmination of the school’s concert season calendar.The concert is part of a landmark event – thought to be the first youth orchestra performance in front of a live audience anywhere in the UK since before the pandemic.
