Julep Trio
Julep is an acoustic-pop trio comprising Reece Jacob (lead vox, guitar), Alice Phelps (vox, double bass) and Adisa Allen (vox, percussion). The three friends, who have been making original music together for almost a decade, bring a fresh and inventive acoustic flavour to their favourite songs from the last sixty years. Vocal harmonies soar over intricately crafted instrumental arrangements, and whether it’s an old soul classic or a contemporary club anthem, Julep ensures their music is fun and accessible for all.
Be Hear Now are Musical discovery sessions for young people with special educational needs and their families.
Young people and adults can enjoy the relaxed environment of the morning concert, followed by a workshop with support from One Education’s Beth Bishop to allow audience members to explore musical ideas in more depth, inspired by the performance. Previous concerts have included folk, string quartets, sea shanties and brass quartets. For ages 0 – 19.
