Car Parking

We have a limited number of car parking spaces available on-site for event organisers; please ask your event planner for availability and to pre-book a space.

For satellite navigation, the Hall’s postcode is M2 3WS. The nearest car parks are NCP Manchester Central (formerly G-Mex), NCP Great Northern or NCP Oxford Street. Manchester Central car park is linked directly to The Bridgewater Hall by an underpass beneath Lower Mosley Street. From this well-lit underground walkway, take the lift, ramp or steps up to Barbirolli Square just outside the Hall’s main entrance.

Public Transport

Deansgate Metrolink and train stations are 0.2 miles and a 3 minute walk’

Oxford Road train station is 0.4 miles and a 9 minute walk.

St Peter’s Square Metrolink is 0.2 miles and a 3 minute walk.

Metroshuttle free bus linking all major transport links and car parks.

Frequently Asked Questions

Are there any restrictions on room hire at The Bridgewater Hall? 
We run a full programme of concerts and community engagement events at the Hall and evening availability can be limited, however please check availability with the Conferences & Events team as we also run a busy conference and events programme alongside the artistic schedule.
Do the rooms offer natural daylight?
All conference rooms and foyer spaces have natural light and floor to ceiling windows. The Auditorium is an enclosed performance space ideal for a variety of large scale yet intimate events.
Does the venue have any outdoor space?
The Piazza outside the Hall is available on request, please ask your event planner for further details.
Can I arrange a site visit?
The Conferences & Events team are always happy to show clients our fabulous spaces. We find this is a useful exercise as our spaces are so unique and varied.
What is included in the venue’s standard DDR package?
All Day Delegate Packages include, room hire, 3 x refreshment breaks, finger buffet lunch and basic AV equipment as a minimum.
What is the earliest time that I can access my meeting room?
Most standard room hires are from 7.30am, additional access can be arranged, please ask your event planner for further details and availability.
Does the venue supply free WiFi?
Yes all areas of the Hall have free WiFi available, bandwidth may vary depending on event requirements and an extended bandwidth can be arranged on request.
Can we have our event material delivered to the venue prior to our event?
We have limited storage, however we are more than happy to help where we can, please always check with your event planner in advance of sending event materials.
Who provides the catering at the venue?
All our catering is produced in house, whatever your requirements, our Head Chef, Marco Giuseppe Tedde will be able to produce the perfect menu to compliment your event.
Does the venue cater for special dietary requirements?
The majority of dietary requirements can be catered for, let us know in advance of your event day and we will make arrangements to suit your guests. The events team will always be able to provide allergen information for all food and drink prepared on site.
