‘These occasions give me the chance, just once in a while, to throw away my inhibitions and sing in a way I normally reserve for the bathroom.’ Sing with the Hallé participant
A welcome return and an opportunity to dust off your score, fill your lungs and experience a full day of inspiring choral music. This is the perfect opportunity to sing one of the most celebrated pieces in the choral repertoire – Brahms’s glorious Ein Deutsches Requiem (A German Requiem). Come and be part of the sound created by a thousand voices, accompanied by the vibrant, award-winning Hallé raising the roof of The Bridgewater Hall – an altogether thrilling experience. You will be joined by singers from the Hallé Choirs, two outstanding soloists and be led by the motivating and inspirational conductor, Matthew Hamilton.
No previous experience required! However anyone wanting to learn the score in advance is welcome to join the Hallé Choral Academy.
