Lindsay Munroe is a Manchester based Alt-folk musician who draws on influences such as Sharon Van Etten, Laura Marling and Marika Hackman. With a strong focus on lyric and melody, Munroe’s music has been a recent favourite of BBC Introducing Manchester. Her debut EP ‘One Day Will Break’ was released in 2016 and spans from intimate acoustic tracks to a fuller rock sound. Munroe’s second record is due to be released in 2019. Blending delicate introspection with complex melodies and intricate guitar work, Munroe’s music draws you into both her world and your own, whilst including much darker rock influenced elements.
