Celebrating the soundtrack that defined a generation, Dirty Dancing in Concert brings to life as never before the timeless love story of Baby and Johnny, the film shown in its entirety as a full concert orchestra perform its soundtrack live in time.
Released in 1987, Dirty Dancing was a worldwide sensation, its soundtrack generating two multi-platinum albums and multiple singles, including the Academy Award®-winning Best Original Song, (I’ve Had) The Time of My Life.
Set in the summer of 1963, the film follows Baby Houseman (Jennifer Grey) on her family vacation to the beautiful Catskills resort, Kellerman’s Mountain House. Intrigued by the staff’s dance instructor, Johnny Castle (Patrick Swayze), and the vastly different lifestyle of others, Baby finds herself both learning to dance and falling in love. It becomes a summer she never forgets.
