Join us for a fantastic performance ahead of the Philippine Philharmonic Orchestra by music students from The Manchester College. Over the past months, these students have been taking part in a series of workshops organised by the Learning and Participation Department at the Bridgewater Hall and led by composer Jonathan James and multi-instrumentalist Áine Mallon.
Throughout the workshops, students have developed and learnt techniques to create their own new pieces of music inspired by Mahler’s 5th Symphony, performed by the London Philharmonic Orchestra as part of the The Bridgewater Hall’s International Concert Series.
