At The Bridgewater Hall we’re committed to supporting musical education at every level. We work closely with resident orchestras Manchester Camerata, The BBC Philharmonic and the Hallé. Throughout the season we hold regular pre-concert talks, study days and masterclasses led by these orchestras and visiting artists.
Throughout the year we invite student performers and emerging artists to perform in The Bridgewater Hall's Stalls Café Bar through our Bridgewater Introducing series, connecting new music with new audiences.
Performers are welcome to present an acoustic programme, as an opportunity to build your performance experience and raise awareness of your work. We will promote performances via our website, e-newsletter and social media. We will be opening the application process in January 2017, so please check back here for more details soon.
As a volunteer, you can learn by working alongside experienced members of staff, enhance your CV and share your skills. Visit our Volunteer Programme pages to find out more information about volunteering here at The Bridgewater Hall.
We're often approached by students interested in carrying out research at The Bridgewater Hall. We will do our best to support such requests, but can only accommodate a limited number in any year. If you wish to work with The Bridgewater Hall, please contact us to let us know the purpose of your research, your timescale and proposed methodologies. We will require confirmation from your institution that any research is part of your studies, and will need to agree your approach and sign off any questionnaires or other research materials.
