Sitarist and composer Jonathan Mayer has performed across a variety of genres playing with artists including Kathryn Tickell, Kuljit Bhamra, John Wilson, Bombay Dub Orchestra, and Sir Paul McCartney. He has composed extensively for many genres from jazz and fusion to Indian and symphonic writing. His works have been performed and commissioned by The London Philharmonic Orchestra, Pilsen Philharmonic Orchestra, Docklands Sinfonia, Erich Gruenburg, Joji Hattori, and his father’s band Indo-Jazz Fusions. Jonathan will be accompanied by renowned tabla player and Milapfest Artist in Residence Kousic Sen.
