Take a look behind the scenes at The Bridgewater Hall, and learn more about Manchester’s iconic international concert venue including a detailed close-up look at the world-famous organ.
Our entertaining and knowledgeable tour guides will lead you through the building’s history, its acoustics and architecture, and even the world-famous organ, as well as giving you access to parts of the building not usually open to the public.
The organ is not a space designed for public access. The tour involves climbing a wooden ladder and is not suitable for people with mobility difficulties, or for children under 12. By booking this tour, you commit to respecting and taking care within this environment and The Bridgewater Hall reserves the right to refuse access to any visitor for whom we feel the tour is unsuitable.
Important: Due to restrictions on number of people that can be safely taken up to the organ at one time, this tour will be split into two groups of 8 who will access the organ at different times. When one group is looking at the organ, the other group will be taken on a tour of the building.
Please note that tours sometimes take place when the building is otherwise closed to the public.
