
Re:sound – How to tell a story through Opera

Please book your free tickets for Streetwise Opera’s Re:Sound performance – you will be seated in the Choir Circle, whilst students from schools across Greater Manchester are in the Stalls and Circle seating areas.

Explore Opera Workshop
The first part of the event is an interactive Explore Opera workshop led by facilitators from Streetwise Opera – the audience will learn concepts of song-writing, story-telling, character-building, composition, choreography and performance, in a practical and fun way!
Streetwise Opera’s Re:Sound
From 1.10pm, the premiere of Streetwise Opera’s Re:Sound micro-operas will take place, accompanied by musicians from BBC Philharmonic and The Sixteen. If you only wish to watch the concert, please arrive around 1pm, and you’ll be seated in the break between workshop and performance.
12.30pm: Explore Opera Workshop begins
1.10pm: Concert begins
2.00pm: Concert finish
Please then join Streetwise Opera and The Bridgewater Hall for refreshments after the concert in the Barbirolli Room.
