We will only send marketing communications to you in accordance with the preferences you have indicated to us through the online registration process or in conversation with Box Office staff. You can update your preferences at any time. We currently send marketing information by post or by email, according to your preferences. We respect your time and attention by controlling the frequency of our mailings. We do not conduct marketing activities by telephone.
If you have elected not to receive marketing communications from us, we may still contact you about your booking or with information relevant to the event you are attending, such as information about transport issues, artistic changes or a concert cancellation. This information will usually be sent by post or by email; we will only telephone you where circumstances dictate this is the most appropriate form of communication.
How we protect your privacy
We comply with the Data Protection Act and use security measures to protect against the loss, misuse and alteration of data used by our system.
Sharing and usage
We will never share, sell, or rent individual personal information with anyone without your advance permission or unless ordered by a court of law. Information submitted to us is only available to employees managing this information for purposes of contacting you or sending you emails based on your request for information and to contracted service providers for purposes of providing services relating to our communications with you.
How can you stop receiving communications from us?
If you receive information by post, please contact the Box Office to cancel or update your preferences on 0161 907 9000 or by post to: The Box Office, The Bridgewater Hall, Lower Mosley Street, Manchester M2 3WS.
If you receive information by email, each message sent contains an easy, automated way for you to cease receiving email from us (unsubscribe). If you have an online account with us, you can update your preferences at any time by logging on to your account and following the ‘My Account’ link on our website.
If you have received unwanted, unsolicited email sent via our system or purporting to be sent via this system, please forward a copy of that email with your comments to email@example.com for review.
