Become a Friend of Bridgewater for All

Make a difference today by becoming a Friend of Bridgewater for All
Bridgewater for All is the community engagement programme for The Bridgewater Hall, funded by The Bridgewater Hall Community Education Trust and SMG Europe Ltd (the operators of The Bridgewater Hall). It provides opportunities for communities of all ages and backgrounds across Greater Manchester to share in the inspirational building and in the vast range of social and developmental benefits that music has been proven to bring. For some, the Bridgewater for All programme is their first experience of hearing or creating music, or their first visit to The Bridgewater Hall. For others, it opens up new genres music and allows them to maintain their love of music when other doors are closed. The majority of the Bridgewater for All programme is directly funded by concert and conference income across the building, ensuring that our activities can be offered either free of charge, or heavily subsidised, to remove financial barriers to participation. However, we also rely on public funding for around one third of our income, and audience donations play an incredibly important part.

Friends of Bridgewater For All is your chance to pledge donations in advance and to help us maintain our socially engaging programme of events. Becoming a Friend will help us to reach more people and enable you to enjoy a range of benefits:

  • Meet like minded friends, musicians, Bridgewater Hall staff and Bridgewater Hall Community Education Trust trustees at annual receptions
  • An exclusive Friends of Bridgewater for All membership card which, on Bridgewater for All event days, will give you access to a 10% discount off food in the Stalls Café Bar and in The Bridgewater Hall Shop
  • 10% discount off Bridgewater for All one off events and workshops
  • Receive advance notice about upcoming events, access discounted ticket offers, and see a preview of our flagship free lunchtime concert series A Little Bite Music before the season before full listings are released
