We are delighted to welcome the first of our successful auditionees to The Bridgewater Hall. The four members of the Benyounes Quartet are prize-winning graduates of the highly regarded chamber music programme at the Royal Northern College of Music and are now gathering valuable further professional experience in Paris and in Geneva, where they are studying with the renowned chamber musician Gábor Takács-Nagy. Their programme includes Ravel’s youthful masterpiece and a highly- charged, romantic slow movement said to have been inspired by a hiking holiday which Webern and his future wife took in the Tyrol.
