Due to ill health, Alexander Lazerev will no longer be conductor for the Bolshoi Symphony Orchestra tour. We are pleased to welcome Alexei Stepanov as his replacement.
Moscow’s Bolshoi Theatre is Russia’s national theatre for ballet and opera, representing the quintessence of the country’s musical tradition. Founded in 1776, the theatre was the venue for the premières of Mussorgsky’s Boris Godunov and Tchaikovsky’s Swan Lake.
