The Coming Home Tour - With special guest Faryl Smith
Tickets: £26.50 - £29.50
Following the success of The Soldiers debut album 'Coming Home' which has phenomenally dominated the charts, the three serving soldiers are now ready to announce their 24 date national tour which will kick off on the 16th March 2010.
The Soldiers will release their much anticipated Christmas single 'A Soldiers Christmas Letter' on 9 December and will give the public a taster of what they have in store at both the Children of Courage Awards as well as at the Royal Variety Performance.
The support from the public has been overwhelming…there is even a Facebook page which receives over 5000 hits per day, willing them to reach the Christmas number one spot over the X factor winner. This level of encouragement and The Soldiers talent seems to be a winning combination for another top ten hit.
25 pence of each sale of 'A Soldiers Christmas Letter’ (the single) is being donated to the Army Benevolent Fund (registered charity nos 211645 and SC039189). Donations from the sale of every album and the track 'Coming Home’ are also being donated to support three charities, Army Benevolent Fund, Help for Heroes and the Royal British Legion. (9 December single available from HMV and download).
A donation from ticket sales goes to the Army Benevolent Fund.
One minute, Faryl Smith was an ordinary schoolgirl with a talent, the next she was being told in front of a national television audience, 'You are literally one in a million'. This is how 13-year-old singing sensation Faryl Smith sang her way to the final of ITV’s Britain’s Got Talent and into Britain’s front rooms. It was an endorsement worth its weight in platinum with Faryl having now signed the largest record deal ever awarded to a schoolgirl.
Besides the emotional power of her voice, what impressed judges and audiences most about Faryl is her amazing composure and maturity. If she felt nervous walking out to sing in front of the TV cameras, you would never have known it. Although talent show fame came with a spot on Britain’s Got Talent, where most will fade away after that initial burst, it was always clear that Faryl was destined for something special.
