Raymond Gubbay’s annual Proms celebration returns to The Bridgewater Hall this October, featuring a wealth of popular classics to brighten up the autumn season.

From the dreamy Sleeping Beauty Waltz to the uplifting Hallelujah Chorus and the grandiose theme from Where Eagles Dare, Manchester’s premier venue will resound to a diverse feast of rousing music performed by top-class musicians. Stephen Bell will conduct the Manchester Concert Orchestra for this superb musical programme of all-time favourites, and they will be joined by eminent soprano Linda Richardson for the exquisite Un bel di from Madam Butterfly.

The evening will be crowned with a grand finale of Proms favourites Rule, Britannia!, Nimrod and Jerusalem. As ever at these events, flag-waving and audience participation will be strongly encouraged.
