The Balsom Ensemble concert on the 9th June 2010 has been postponed to Tuesday 21st September 2010 as Alison Balsom is expecting a baby in Spring 2010.
All patrons who booked for the June 2010 date have automatically had their booking transferred and tickets will be valid for the rescheduled date. We will be contacting all patrons who have already booked for the concert.
Trumpeter Alison Balsom's silken tone has gained her a growing audience. Together with a group of top-class musical friends, she extends the boundaries of the instrument and its repertoire. The group perform a series of special arrangements, encompassing works for Baroque trumpet, the artful tangos of Piazolla and a new work by Tom Poster.
Alison Balsom's album will be released on 18 September and she will be signing CDs here on the evening of the concert. CDs will be available to purchase from The Bridgewater Hall Gift Shop.
