Our pre-concert dining menu is available from 5.30pm on concert nights. The menu changes daily. Please download a sample menu at the top right of this page. Please make your reservation with the Box Office on 0161 907 9000 or on-line when you purchase your tickets. A deposit of £5.00 per person is required. This is non-refundable in the event of cancellation with less than three days' notice.
The Charles Hallé Restaurant
The Charles Hallé Restaurant has established a dedicated following from concert-goers and has attracted glowing reviews in the media, including a feature in the Which? Good Food Guide 2007 as one of the top 1,200 UK restaurants and a brand new listing in The Good Food Guide 2008. The Restaurant has also been named one of Manchester's top five pre-show eateries by City Life (January 2009).
Head Chef Marco Tedde's award-winning menus for pre-concert dining offer a choice of starter, main course and dessert. The menu du jour changes daily and is offered at a fixed price. All menus include vegetarian option; please let us know when booking if you have any other dietary requirements.

Hand-crafted Pizza Slices
If you are looking for a light bite to eat before the concert, you could try our delicious, hand-crafted pizza. Available on most concert nights* from one hour before the performance, our pizza is served buffet-style on either the Circle Level or Stalls Level. At just £3.50 per large slice, it's perfect to enjoy with a pre-concert drink. Choose from three tempting toppings on fresh foccacia bread:
Pesto chicken with salt roasted vine tomato and parmesan shavings
Roasted Mediterranean vegetables, feta cheese and sun dried tomato (v)
Chorizo sausage, smoked Blacky ham and grilled fresh pineapple

Bars
The Stalls bar opens from 5.00pm on concert nights. Bars on other levels open from 6.30pm. Remember to order your interval drinks before the concert and they will be waiting for you. All bars serve a full range of drinks.
Ice Creams
Winners of two Gold Great Taste Awards in 2007, Criterion Ices have been selected by The Bridgewater Hall for their delectable dairy ice. Delicious flavours include Belgian Chocolate, Stem Ginger, Gold Medal Vanilla, Strawberries and Cream, Hazelnut Caramel and Lemon Sorbet.
Matinee Concerts and Lunch
