Wrestling with Angels: Mahler’s Life, Legacy and Rise in Manchester

The Bridgewater Hall has compiled a book to accompany the Mahler cycle. Wrestling with Angels by Peter Davison, the Hall’s Artistic Consultant, hopes to explain why Mahler’s music remains so relevant to us and showing how important Manchester has been in Mahler’s rise to popularity.
