In 2010, The Bridgewater Hall celebrates the 150th anniversary of Gustav Mahler’s birth. Our three resident orchestras, the Hallé, BBC Philharmonic and Manchester Camerata, will perform a full cycle of the composer’s symphonies, alongside a series of newly commissioned pieces to show the continuing relevance of Mahler’s music today.
Below is a list of The Concerts in this series. Within these pages you can also find information about The Symphonies, discover more about the composers of The Premieres , follow Kenneth Woods’ insightful Mahler in Manchester Blog and find out about the vast array of Related Events.
