Bridgewater for All
We provide opportunities for schools, community groups and individuals to get involved with the work of the Hall. Whether you're taking your first steps into the world of music or a professional looking for new ideas, use this part of the site to discover what we can offer you.
For the first thirteen years, Learning and Participation was funded and managed by The Bridgewater Hall Community Education Trust. Since 2010, core funding through SMG Theatres has allowed us to expand our work whilst retaining the same aims of innovative, responsive community engagement.
Bring your group along for one of our regular workshops, attend a family concert or explore our current projects to see what's on offer over the next few months.
Or follow us through our social networks:
Have you been to a Bridgewater for All event and enjoyed it? Would you like us to offer opportunities for more people from across Greater Manchester to get involved in our work?
We rely heavily on public funding, sponsorship and donations to maintain our Learning and Participation programme. Show your support through Just Text Giving:

The Treasure Trail encourages children to explore this spectacular building and learn some of its secrets, whilst the Guide to the Orchestra introduces the most popular orchestral instruments and offers some basic information about how they are played. Download both resources from our Families page or pick them up from the Information Desk in the Stalls Foyer.
